Definition
Sjögren's syndrome is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the glands that produce moisture, leading to dry eyes and dry mouth. It can also cause fatigue and joint pain and may occur alongside other autoimmune diseases. Management focuses on relieving symptoms and protecting affected tissues.
